UPDATE 11:45 p.m. CalNet is operational again. 

Since around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 09/08/20, the CalNet authentication service is experiencing an outage that is preventing some users from logging into secured UC Berkeley sites that require a CalNet ID, which include bConnected and the campus VPN.

Some users who were already logged in prior to the outage are able to continue their work without interruption. Those who were not logged in are currently unable to get into the system.

Course Capture has not been able to post new recordings since Monday, 1/27, 10 am. We’re investigating the cause and will provide an update as soon as possible.
Recordings are not lost and will be posted when the issue is resolved. Previously published recordings are still available.

千亿体育官网[Update 10/3 4pm] The issue is resolved. Recordings are now being shared but it may take another two hours before all recordings are processed. 

[Update 10/3 10am] Recordings that ended before 10/1 3pm have been manually shared and posted. We will continue with this workaround until we find a permanent solution.

Due to a CalNet issue resulting from the AD Kerberos changeover, Course Capture has not been able to post new recordings since Monday, 9/16, 6pm. Recordings are not lost and will be posted when the issue is resolved. Previously published recordings are still available.

Course Capture has been unable to post new recordings since August 29, 12:00pm. We are working with YouTube to address this issue. Recordings have not been lost and will be posted once Course Capture resume service. There is no ETA at this moment.

千亿体育官网YouTube has identified and fixed the issue that was preventing the posting of new course capture recordings.  All recordings made during the outage should be available.  We will be removing the workaround that was put in place during the outage.

The original YouTube issue is unresolved, but a workaround has been created to provide students with access to videos using bDrive and bCourses.

千亿体育官网In late 2017, Canvas made its initial release of a New Gradebook (). Since that time, Canvas has released a series of updates to ensure the stability of this tool and add new features based on feedback and testing.

In Summer 2019, ETS plans to make a new quizzing tool available in bCourses known as Quizzes.Next (). This tool will provide a more modern interface and new question types for instructors creating assessments in bCourses.
